Bede is a digital financing service provider founded by Tamam Bahrain B.S.C. Tamam is a Financing Company licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) that offers Shariah-compliant financing solutions along with various financial services.
We offer a hassle-free onboarding process for customers, granting them convenient access to our suite of financial services. Our platform facilitates swift access to microfinancing options. Customers will enjoy the benefits of a KFH IBAN account and a virtual debit card. Our services strictly adhere to Shariah principles and are authorized and supervised by the Shariah Review Bureau.
As a fintech company, we operate digitally and do not maintain physical branches. Our services are fully digital and accessible online, ensuring convenience and accessibility for our customers.
Please make sure you can access the phone number you have registered with Bede. Once this is done, kindly click on “Resend Again”. OTP validation is an important step to protect our customers.
You will need a valid Bahraini Smart Card and a salary certificate during the registration process. For successful registration, the original Smart Card should be available during onboarding.
Resetting your PIN is a straightforward process however please make sure you have access to your registered phone number and follow these steps:
- At the login page, select "Forgot PIN."
- You will be prompted to enter your registered mobile number.
- You will be directed to the mobile number validation screen. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS for verification.
- After successfully verifying your mobile number with the OTP, you can proceed to create your new 6-digit PIN.
Never share this code with anyone. Bede or any other party will never call you to ask for this code.
The minimum age to apply is 21 years.
Yes, however you will be asked to verify your account in the first login from the new device.
You can update all your information through the “Settings” section on the App.
To begin, please download the App and initiate the registration process. Once you complete the registration, you will be able to apply for financing.
We are currently limiting the number of finance applications each day in order to deliver the best service to our customers. We encourage you to try again tomorrow.
The applicant should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- 21 years old or more
- Employed
- Owns a valid Bahraini Smart Card
- Located in Bahrain during the application process
Currently, we only offer financing for individuals.
The process is automated, quick and convenient. You can apply for financing anytime on a 24/7 basis. Simply download Bede App on iOS or Android and complete the in-app online registration process.
The financing approval takes less than a day to be processed.
Your eligibility will be calculated after completing the quick online registration and financing application process. The provided information will be evaluated based on our credit assessment platform and your eligibility will be determined accordingly.
To help us assess your eligibility and ability to withstand and manage additional debt, we use "DSR" as a financial method to compare your total monthly debt payments to your monthly income.
At this stage, customers are only allowed to have one active finance application. Therefore, if a customer would like to apply for a new financing, he will have to settle his active finance first.
You will be reported to the Bahrain credit bureau (BCRB) which will negatively impact your future credit requirements and also to the respective courts and authorities. Hence, please ensure to pay promptly to avoid any future credit or legal actions.
The financing profit rates can vary based on the financing amount and repayment tenure. To determine the specific profit rate applicable to your financing, you need to request financing through our app.

Customers will have to pass our eligibility criteria in order to get their finance application approved. Our eligibility criteria for financing is determined by various factors, such as credit history, credit scoring, income, employment status, and other factors.
Our financing products at Bede are associated with two types of fees:
- Administrative fees
- Processing fees

Once you submit the financing request and it gets approved, you will not be able to cancel it. However, you can do an Early Settlement, at your convenience.
Your IBAN Number can be found on the home page of your profile.
You can view your transaction history by clicking on Transactions section which is available below on the home page.
You can transfer your money to any bank account in the Kingdom by using the following options:
- Withdraw from any KFH ATMs
- Add your IBAN on BenefitPay
- Add the virtual Debit Card on BenefitPay
Pay with the Virtual Debit Card
Currently, we do not offer card-related services.
You will need to transfer the amount through Fawri/Fawri+ on BenefitPay to your Bede Account / IBAN.
Missing a repayment on your outstanding finance will result in being charged with late payment fees.
The amount will be deposited into your Bede account. You will receive an SMS, email and in-app notification alerting you that your finance amount has been deposited.
Customers can reach out to our customer service via phone, WhatsApp, live chat on our website, and email. All the contact information is listed under the “About Us” section within the app.
Customers can utilize the banking services provided and available on Bede App. For cash withdrawals, customers can access KFH ATMs via their CPR.
Bede is shariah-compliant, following Islamic financing principles, and is approved by Shariyah Review Bureau (SRB) and licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB).
We utilize palladium as the fixed commodity within our financial offerings.
Customers should immediately reach out to Bede customer service to disable their accounts and virtual debit cards.
